This app is for women choosing to put in mutual effort to actually meet each other, not just match and vanish we aren’t a dating app sis.
You don't owe anyone a conversation. You don't have to force a connection, or meet up if it's not right. You're still your own person in here. Some women you'll click with. Some you won't. That's just life. It doesn't mean the village isn't working, it just means you have to be intentional; who you are and who you seek to meet.
We don’t allow bullying, hate, division, forcing your beliefs, religion or political views on other women. Please, be kind... it’s free.
We also dont allow self promotion, direct selling or setting up groups in order to sell to women inside.
IWR is an 18+ friendship community for women.
Members will be required to confirm that they meet IWR's eligibility requirements. Identity and age verification will also form part of our app.
Our full eligibility requirements will be clearly set out before membership is purchased, and every member will be required to agree to them before joining.
IWR is built differently, deliberately.
You didn’t want us to fill this app with adverts, products, recommendations or feeling sold to. We also don’t welcome fake profiles and bots.
We believe the women using IWR should be the people we're accountable to, not advertisers or big corporations.
Building and running IWR takes real people and real resources: developers, legal and privacy support, technology, safety, moderation, branding and the women who will be working behind the scenes every day.
That's why IWR is membership funded at £8.99 pcm. We've worked hard to keep it affordable while building something sustainable, independent and designed around the women who use it.
Friendship shouldn't cost money. But building a safe place to help women find each other does.
We're tired of being owned and sold to.
Honestly, I wanted the IWR App to be global from day one.
But I've learned that launching responsibly across multiple countries isn't as simple as opening the app everywhere at once. And friendship apps only work when there are enough women nearby to actually find each other.
So we're starting with a UK pilot — testing, learning and making IWR as strong as possible before we expand.
The international waitlist isn't going anywhere. In fact, it just got warmer! We will be opening up IWR World for everyone who wants to find their sisters around the globe. Think of IWR World as an international address book for women.
The mission hasn't changed. We're just building the app one country at a time. 💛
Yes. IWR is £8.99 per month and renews monthly until cancelled.
You can cancel your membership through your iOS or Google Play account. This isn’t controlled by us, its between you and the app store.
You will have the change to delete or pause your account.
We are all adult women and we shall be treating you as such. If you feel like your peace is rocked by someone else, just block them and go about your day. Someone breaking the rules? Report them to us and tell us why.
